MONTROSE–For once, it’s all about the kids! The Second Annual Montrose Fall Fun Festival is set for Saturday, Oct. 27, from noon to 4 p.m., with plenty of games and age-appropriate fun for kids of all ages on Main Street in Downtown Montrose. Youth organizations will provide activi- ties, and all funds raised will go to serve the participating youth programs, organiz- er Amy Harmsen said.

“Kids love it!” Harmsen said. “We could use more sponsors, and more volunteers to help with things like ticketing, setting up and taking down decorations, etc.”

Also needed are fun, seasonal decorations such as straw, balloons, flag pennant ban- ners, pumpkins, gourds, corn stalks and  750 prize bags (re-useable would be great!). All donations are tax deductible.

Expect fun surprises like ice cream cou- pons, and the traditional Halloween Cos- tume Contest. Tickets will be available on the day of the event.
